Holy Jeezus, I see the light
I get the difference between "Watashi ga" and "Watashi wa~~" Hahahaha, finally! And ironically enough, it's all thanks to my Japanese Verbs book. Yeah, go figure that one out. x/ Only my verb book came in the mail today, and when I received it I was seriously confused because I didn't choose some fancy TWO DAY SHIPPING thing. The receipt said something like, "TO ENSURE THAT YOU EXPERIENCE FAST AND EFFICIENT DELIVERY, ONE OF YOUR ITEMS HAS BEEN SHIPPED QUICKLY AND THE OTHER ITEMS WILL FOLLOW AT NO EXTRA COST TO YOU." Seriously. I don't get it. You send one item SUPER fast and the other ones come normally. WHY? What's the point? I'm still going to use Super Saver because I'm broke cheap. D: Jeeze, Amazon.

No more petsitting.. at least for a while, anyway. The neighbors came home today and Lisa received her pay (which she split with me because I helped...a lot). Lisa got 410 dollars for watching Kiki and that crazy-ass doggeh. Nope, I'm not lying. So I got 200. That's pretty freaking awesome, kids. I'm not poor broke anymore! :DDD

HAHAHAHHA, now what shall I spend it on, I wonder..?

Basically... "ga" is your subject marker; it tells what the subject is. It can also mark the direct object in some rare cases and can also mean "but". "Ga" is also used for emphasis. "Dare ga?" ---> Who is it?

"Wa" on the other hand is your topic marker. It's kind of like a subject within a subject kind of thing, or used when a subject has already been established in a conversation. Sometimes, and prolly more often than not, "wa" and "ga" are interchangeable.

Kind of confusing. But I think I get it. :D
